Rioja alavesa enoturismo

Rioja Alavesa, located in the heart of the Basque Country, is a destination that seduces with its rolling vineyard landscapes, charming medieval villages and, of course, wineries that produce some of the best wines in the world. Wine tourism in this region is an experience that goes beyond simple tasting; it is an immersion in the culture, history and passion that lies behind every bottle.

The options for enjoying wine tourism in Rioja Alavesa are varied and adapt to all tastes. From guided visits to wineries with a long tradition where the secrets of winemaking are revealed, to guided tastings that awaken the senses, to gastronomic experiences that pair perfectly with local wines.

Bodegas Baigorri: A sensory experience among vineyards

Among the wineries that offer unique wine tourism experiences, Bodegas Baigorri stands out. Its proposal goes beyond the traditional visit, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in an authentic sensory journey. The winery, with its avant-garde architecture integrated into the landscape, is in itself a spectacle to be admired. But the real wine tourism attraction at Baigorri this spring-summer is the “Brunch among the vineyards” experience.

Every Saturday, the winery opens the doors of a private terrace, an oasis of tranquillity with panoramic views of the vineyards. Here, guests can enjoy an exclusive brunch made with local seasonal products, paired with a selection of Baigorri’s best wines. The experience is completed with the possibility of walking among the vineyards, connecting with the land and understanding the origin of the flavours that are tasted on the plate.

“Brunch among the vineyards” is an experience that awakens all the senses. The aroma of freshly poured wine, the taste of local gastronomy, the texture of the earth underfoot and the sight of sun-drenched vineyards combine to create an indelible memory.

Spring offers green landscapes and pleasant temperatures, making it the ideal time to resume this activity, which was a great success last summer. So, from Saturday 13th April onwards, it will be available for you to experience this activity in a different way.(more info and reservations here)
