Thanks to the large proportion of the variety Graciano to this red field blend, it is quite unlike any other BAIGORRI wine – a new dimension for wines from Rioja. A new definition of freshness and elegance in a red wine; fine-grained tannins combine with great aromatic complexity, refreshing and subtle on the palate.<\/p>\n

Pure avant-garde \u2013 that\u2019s Rioja too!<\/p>\n

Red field blend made from the varieties Graciano (70%), Tempranillo (15%) and Garnacha (15%), sourced from old vines (>65 years).<\/p>\n

After a manual picking, all the grapes are hand-selected, berry per berry, using vibration and selection tables. The destalked and uncrushed grapes macerate in oak fermenters. Long intracellular fermentations with indigenous yeasts. Natural extraction by gravity. Malolactic fermentation and 14 months ageing in new French oak barrels of different sizes (225l. \/ 500l. \/ 600l.).<\/p>\n

Vineyards<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One plot located at an altitude of 700 meters, with a\u00a0ferruginous<\/a>\u00a0calcareous clay soil. Vine training system: Gobelet\u00a0\u00a0(bush vine system). Sustainable viticulture with 100% handcraft.<\/p>\n

Tasting note<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Highly concentrated, purple colour. Intensive aromas of red fruits; high complexity and harmony, with hints of black olives and rosemary. Very elegant, silky and long on the palate. Fine-grained tannins and vivid acidity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
